KATHLEEN GORHAM - PARALEGAL
PRESIDENT
Originally from the San Fernando Valley, Kathleen has lived in Palm Springs since 1990 with her husband, Tom. Kathleen has served in the legal profession for 34 years and earned a Paralegal Studies Certificate from UC Davis. She is the Probate Paralegal at Slovak Baron Empey Murphy & Pinkney and has been an active member of the Desert Palm Legal Professionals Association since 2011. A member of the Palm Springs Film Society and the Palm Springs Air Museum. Kathleen has served DPLPA in the following capacities: Parliamentarian, Education and Training Chair, Bylaws Committee member, Program Chair, Conference Co-Chair, and as President.
LUZ DAVIS - PARALEGAL, CA LDA, AZ CLDP
VICE PRESIDENT
Luz Davis is a native of the Coachella Valley with nearly two decades of experience in the legal field. She began her career in 2010 at the Law Offices of Lisa D. Jentzen, advancing from intern to paralegal, and subsequently gained experience with multiple family law firms throughout the Coachella Valley. Luz holds an Associate of Science in Paralegal Studies (2011) and a Paralegal Certificate (2025). She has been a registered and bonded Legal Document Assistant (CALDA) with the County of Riverside, State of California since 2015, and in 2026 was granted certification by the Supreme Court of Arizona as a Certified Legal Document Preparer (AZCLDP). She also provides freelance paralegal services under contract with licensed attorneys. Luz is the owner and operator of Blythe Legal Support in Blythe, California, and has been an active member of the Desert Palm Legal Professionals Association since 2017, serving in roles including Treasurer, Governor, and several committee positions.
SAMANTHA MARJI - PARALEGAL, CA LDA
SECRETARY
Samantha is a Registered Legal Document Assistant, California Notary Public, and ABA-Approved Paralegal and a proud Air Force Reservist and Veteran. She brings both legal expertise and a heart for service, having volunteered with the Young Survival Coalition since 2019 and the National Charity League since 2021.
Samantha is no stranger to Desert Palm LPA, having served on our Board from 2018 to 2022. We're thrilled to welcome her back!
