Executive Board 2024-2025
We are pleased to present our newly appointed executive board of directors for the upcoming term of 2024 - 2025.

PRESIDENT
Kathleen Gorham
Originally from the San Fernando Valley, Kathleen has lived in Palm Springs since 1990 with her husband, Tom. Kathleen has served in the legal profession for 34 years and earned a Paralegal Studies Certificate from UC Davis. She is the Probate Paralegal at Slovak Baron Empey Murphy & Pinkney and has been an active member of the Desert Palm Legal Professionals Association since 2011. A member of the Palm Springs Film Society and the Palm Springs Air Museum. Kathleen has served DPLPA in the following capacities: Parliamentarian, Education and Training Chair, Bylaws Committee member, Program Chair, Conference Co-Chair, and as President.

VICE PRESIDENT
Donna Sanchez
Donna Sanchez grew up, attended school, and raised her children in the Coachella Valley; and has lived in Indio with her husband since 1987. Donna began her legal career in the early 1980s working for the Indio Superior Court as a court clerk. She attended College of the Desert and received her Paralegal Certificate from Muir Technical College in Palm Desert. She has been a member of the Desert Palm Legal Professionals Association since 2022. Donna has served in the following capacities: Secretary, Programs & Hospitality, Boss of the Year Award and Professional Liaison.

SECRETARY
Brenda Wallace
Brenda is a recent graduate from UC Riverside. Brenda earned an ABA approved Paralegal Certificate. She is a Paralegal at Slovak Baron Empey Murphy & Pinkney. Brenda has been a member of the Desert Palm Legal Professionals Association since 2022.

GOVERNOR
Luz Davis
Luz Davis grew up in the Coachella Valley. Luz started her legal career in 2010. She has a passion for family law. Luz was employed by prominent family law firms in the Coachella Valley. Luz interned and worked her way up to Paralegal. She earned an Associates of Science in Paralegal Studies. Since 2015, Luz has owned her business. She is a registered and bonded legal document assistant through the County of Riverside. She owns and operates Blythe Legal Support. She has been a member of the Desert Palm Legal Professionals Association since 2017. Luz has served in the following capacities: Historian, Social Media Chair, Website, Bulletin, Governor Pro-Tem and Treasurer.
